Hakuchozan, inspired by Germany's fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle, was designed to bring the luxury lifestyle of European monarchies into the 21st century. This seven-bedroom chalet has been voted Japan's best ski chalet twice. It is designed over four floors and offers plenty of areas for everyone to relax, socialise and play, as well as quiet nooks with a view of the mountains. Hakuchozan is dedicated to making your stay relaxing, stress-free, and magical.
The seven bedrooms with ensuites at Hakuchozan have been designed to be spacious and warm. They feature natural wood tones, soft fabric textures and cosy fabrics. If you plan to use the house as an extended family retreat, there are bedrooms on every floor. This allows different members of the family to occupy adjacent bedrooms and relax in their own private spaces. The first floor has two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a bunk room that can sleep four children. Two more double rooms are located on the second floor. The largest and most private of all the double rooms is found at the top. These cozy bedroom features are perfect for a good night’s sleep after a long tiring day.
Hakuchozan's panoramic views are breathtaking, whether you visit in the winter for the white snow and great ski facilities or in the summer for the clear skies and lush mountainside. You can step outside on the second-floor main terrace to find yourself in a cosy alpine balcony with a hot tub and firepit which overlooks the Japanese Alps. If you prefer a more private experience, the top floor is the place to be. Enjoy a cup of sencha in total privacy while taking in the cool mountain air and crisp snow. Chalet Hakuchozan is a perfect Japan accommodation to spend quality time with your loved ones.
Hakuchozan is a home designed to allow families of different generations to create memories under the same roof. You'll discover open, communicative spaces as you ascend its four floors. There are also private, laid-back nooks for families to enjoy time together. The second-floor living room is a large open space with a TV, massage chair and plush couches where guests can relax after a long day on the slopes. Children can play Xbox in the games room located on the top level, while adults relax with a drink in the den. The fully-equipped kitchen is large enough for everyone to work together and create a delicious evening meal.
