Oozing zen and countryside tranquility, Kairos by the Mountain is a beautiful luxury residence located next to Courtyard by Marriott near Echoland in Nagano, Japan. Newly-built, this chalet contains 3 bedrooms and projects the romantic vibes of a surreal alpine mountain retreat. It is also an accommodation that guests will come to love for its convenience to the Echoland main street, besides the pure relaxation and comfort it offers. The unit measures 135 sq meters in size and is perfect to sleep 6 within its interiors that are decked in mostly warm tones of wood.
Children bedroom
Designed with 3 bedrooms, guests will find that 2 of the bedrooms are configured either with the option of king-sized or 2 twin bedding, while the final bedroom comes with 2 bunk beds that are suitable for adults. Each of the rooms are also in-built with hydronic underfloor heating with individual controllers. There are 2.5 bathrooms within the chalet, and which is supplied with the full toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, towels and hairdryers to meet the needs of guests.
Villa exterior
Kairos by the Mountain is surrounded by the white landscape of powdery snow which can be viewed from the expansive windows from your chalet. If guests would like to physically step onto the snow or have a touch of it, they can head up to the slopes using the free shuttle bus stop that is just a minute walk from your chalet’s doorstep.
Wooden bath
Modern simplicity is the theme for the indoors of Kairos by the Mountain which impresses guests with its open plan living area and dining space. Both are connected to the fully-equipped contemporary kitchen - including a kitchen island - that carries the full cutlery dishware and facilities of AEG cooktop, dishwasher, and oven. Guests will be pleased to also spot the likes of Dolce Gusto coffee machine, microwave, and toaster available for use. For entertainment, tune in to the large flat-screen television connected to Apple TV and Netflix channels, while a Bose SoundDock is also supplied.
For some self-pampering, the Japanese bathtub that overlooks the surrounding forest will surely soothe all your aches away from a day of chasing snow powder or racing down groomers. A lovely feature is the fireplace in the lounge area to keep yourselves warm. There is also a dry room with AEG washer and dryer, and liquid detergent and softener provided as a package.
Storage & dry room
The staff at Kairos by the Mountain takes care of guests’ needs with top-notch hospitality ensured. Any rubbish is removed daily while fresh change of towels are provided every second day, but not including arrival and departure days. For stays of 8 nights or more, linen change is done every five days. Guests will be pleased that there is complimentary arrival and departure pick-up and drop-off service within Hakuba and the staff can also help with complimentary supermarket runs if needed. For those who would like some additional other services not listed, requests can be made to the team for a customized quotation. Complimentary WiFi and domestic phone calls are also provided.
The chalet is located close to some of Hakuba’s best dining eateries that are only a mere minute's walk away. Guests can definitely enjoy their evening selecting the different options of traditional izakaya cuisine to international fine dining being offered. It is also 2 minutes from the Echoland main street; while other attractions worth checking out include Hakuba Ski Jumping Stadium, Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park, and even the Hakuba Base Camp.
